Name: Autor
Age: 18
House: Ravenclaw
Year: 7th
Background: Autor was born and raised in a small town near the former boarder of England and Scotland. He is pure blood and his family has a proud wizarding history, something he is quite aware of since he has researched his family tree extensively. In past generations there were several great witches and wizards whom he all idolizes; however, the power in his bloodline has decreased over the years, making him not very talented at magic at all.
Since he was old enough to understand this, Autor has resented this fact. He refuses to admit aloud to others that he is not very good and believes that he, too, should be as powerful as his ancestors. He thinks it is his right to be able to do magic just as well. Due to this inferiority complex, he often envies more talented witches and wizards at the school and treats them like they are not as good as he is.
Autor's family was a bit surprised, though relieved when he received his Hogwarts letter as it at least proved there was still magic in their family. Autor cannot accept the fact that his parents are not very good with magic either, and thus has not kept much contact with them during the schoolyear.
Even though he generally cannot make spells work or they backfire on him, Autor has made his way through his classes with his book knowledge. He spends much of his time in the library reading whatever books he can find and does not like when people are being too noisy around him. Autor reads about magic and all kinds of spells since they fascinate him, and the more he continues to read the more he believes he should be able to do these spells as well. Even though he cannot perform most of them, Autor has memorized the incantations, wand movements, and effects of practically every spell he has come across. Although he takes as many classes involving magic as he can that he can manage to pass, he tends to excel in subjects such as Ancient Runes, History, and Arthimancy since they involve his memory. He also takes Music classes because, although it is not magic, it's something he's actually good at.
Although he comes off as a jerk and is clearly obsessed with magic, which might seem suspicious during the early stages of war, Autor is not a bad person at heart. When people do manage to become close to him he can be very loyal even if he doesn't act like he cares. Despite the fact that he wants power, he does have an established sense of right and wrong and when given a serious choice will almost always go with the right.

Seimei Aoyagi (our_beloved): He's not completely sure. No, really. He knows Seimei has a lot of power and a lot of offer him, which he likes, but he can't really describe it beyond that.
Soubi Agatsuma (nitordanaus): Autor has been given some control over Soubi, which he is very enthusiastic about. On the whole, though, he's pretty nice to him, especially compared to Seimei. By a strange twist of fate, they're in the same dorm as well.
Yoite (p_reservation): Yoite is his roommate. He's usually pretty nice to him and they tend to get along.
Gau Meguro (tenpa_kun): Roommate. They don't talk much, but Autor tolerates him.
Kunzite (winter_evenings): Another roommate he talks to periodically. He doesn't really annoy Autor much, either.
Amu Hinamori (amulet_witch): Even though she's much younger than him, Autor gets along with her pretty well and finds their conversations to be somewhat intelligent. Compared to most other people, at least.
Belle (bookbeauty): Autor feels a bit of a kindred spirit with Belle because they're both in the library so much, so he gets along with her. Beyond that he's yet to make any other connections.
Chidori Yoshino (princesserouge): They talk periodically, but they seem to share similar views on the antics of the castle and the people in it, so he finds her to be a bit of fresh air.
Raimei Shimizu (xxkurogamonxx): Autor can sympathize with her work ethic when it comes to schoolwork, but she kind of confuses him outside of that.
Ritsuka Aoyagi (forsaken_kitty): He hasn't talked to him much, but since he's Seimei's brother and they're both in the same house he doesn't find him to be overly bothersome.
